Owners, Staff and the Reports PIN
Who can do what in a factory's account, and how the Reports PIN works.
What can owners and staff do in Kamna?
Kamna has two roles: the owner sees money, and staff enter everything but never see a money figure Kamna works out.
Staff enter yarn, fabric, trims, lots, cutting, and pieces sent and received with bills and rates.
How do I add a staff login?
Open More, then Staff, and create a login with the staff member's email and a password you set.
A factory can have up to 5 staff logins, and the owner is not counted. Removing a login frees its place, and the entries that person made stay on the lots. Kamna does not charge per user.
What is the Reports PIN?
The Reports PIN is a 4 to 6 digit code the owner sets under More, Staff. When it is set, staff must enter it to open Home.
It decides whether staff see Home, never whether they see money. The owner is never asked for it. A staff member who holds the PIN is the factory's manager, and the role stays staff. With no PIN set, staff open Home directly.
What can Ask do for staff?
Staff use the same Ask box to learn how to enter something, from Kamna's help and how far the factory's entries have got.
Staff Ask has no access to costs, rates, margins or stock values, and it says so when asked.
