How do I create a Kamna account?

Create a Kamna account at kamna.app/signup, in a browser on a phone or a laptop. Accounts are made on the website, never inside the app.

To sign up, give the factory's name and an email, or use a Google or Apple account. Giving a phone number is optional. Nothing is paid at signup, and the free trial opens the whole product.

How do I sign in?

The owner signs in with Google, with Apple, or with a code sent to their email, so the owner never has a password. Staff sign in with the email and password the owner sets for them under More, Staff.

Can I use Kamna on a phone and a laptop?

Yes. Kamna runs in any browser and as an app from the Play Store and the App Store, and the same factory opens on every device.

On a laptop, open kamna.app in the browser. On a phone, install the app, or add kamna.app to the home screen so it opens in one tap. Kamna works in English and shows money in rupees.

What should I enter first?

Enter the fabric you are about to cut, then your first lot: Kamna has no vendor, style or fabric list to fill in before you start.

1. Tap the create button in the middle of the bottom bar and choose Add fabric.
2. Tap the create button again and choose New lot. Leave the lot number blank to take the next number, and tap Create lot.
3. On the lot, add its sizes and colours.
4. Tap Log cutting, pick the fabric, and enter what was consumed and the pieces cut.
5. Add a stage each time work goes out to a vendor or to your own unit.

You type each vendor and supplier once, when you first need them, and Kamna finds them as you type from then on.

How is the Kamna app laid out?

Kamna has five places: Home, Production, the create button, Stock and More. On a phone they sit in the bar at the bottom of the screen. On a wide screen they sit in the sidebar.

• Home: what needs attention today, and Ask.
• Production: garment lots on the Garment tab and fabric runs on the Fabric tab. Active work comes first; History holds closed lots.
• Create: New lot, New fabric run, Add yarn, Add fabric and Add trims.
• Stock: yarn, fabric and trims, each on its own tab.
• More: factory details, subscription, connections, staff, help and your account.

Why is a new factory empty?

Kamna puts nothing in your factory that you did not enter, so a new account starts empty.
