The rules governing your use of Kamna.

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Kamna (kamna.app), a production management application for CMT garment factories, operated by K N Industries, GSTIN 33AFBPJ8394L1Z2, registered at 31/17, 1st Street, JG Nagar, Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu 641602 ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using Kamna, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Payment and Refund Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the service.

Description of Service

Kamna is a cloud-based production management application designed for CMT (Cut, Make, Trim) garment factories. It enables factory owners and their staff to track production lots across vendors, manage fabric and trim inventory, calculate cost per piece, generate reports, and access Intelligence features including natural language queries and proactive alerts.

Kamna is provided as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and is accessed through a web browser or as a Progressive Web App (PWA) installed on your device.

Account Registration

To use Kamna, you must create an account by providing your factory name, a valid email address, and your phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Authentication is handled through one-time verification codes sent to your registered email address. You must not share your verification codes with anyone. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, notify us immediately at [email protected].

You may add staff users to your account. You are responsible for the actions of all staff users added to your account. Staff users have restricted access and cannot view financial data such as costs, rates, and margins.

Subscription Plans and Billing

Current position

Kamna is not selling subscriptions at present. Every factory has the whole product on a free trial, at no cost and with no payment information required. New pricing is being finalised and will be published on our pricing page before it takes effect.

Existing subscriptions

The terms in this section govern subscriptions purchased while plans were on sale, and they remain in force for those subscriptions until they end. Such subscriptions carry recurring payments, billed monthly or annually depending on the billing cycle selected. All prices are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). GST at the applicable rate (currently 18%) is charged on all subscription payments.

Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time by emailing [email protected] or through the Help and Support section in the app. Upon cancellation, paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account continues on the free trial. Your data is retained.

Refunds

Our refund policy is described in detail on our Payment and Refunds page. Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. Annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of subscription start. Billing errors, duplicate charges, or charges after cancellation are addressed within 7 to 10 business days upon request.

Your Data

You own all production data, inventory data, cost data, and any other business data you enter into Kamna. We do not claim any ownership or intellectual property rights over your data.

We process your data solely to provide you the Kamna service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your production data with third parties for their own purposes.

You may export your data at any time using the CSV export feature available in the app. You may also request a complete export of your data by contacting [email protected].

If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Kamna only for its intended purpose: managing production, inventory, and costs for your garment factory. You may not:

Use Kamna for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, other users' accounts, or our infrastructure.

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Kamna application.

Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from Kamna, except through our officially provided export features.

Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content through the service.

Use the service to store or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to Kamna without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these acceptable use provisions, after providing notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the violation where practicable.

Intellectual Property

Kamna, including its design, code, interface, graphics, trademarks, and documentation, is the intellectual property of K N Industries. All rights are reserved.

Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Kamna for the duration of your subscription, solely for your internal business purposes. This licence does not include the right to modify, copy, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Kamna application.

The Kamna name, logo, and wordmark are trademarks of K N Industries. You may not use them without our written permission.

Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability of the Kamna service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Kamna operates as a Progressive Web App with offline caching. You may continue to view your data and queue entries when your internet connection is unavailable. Queued entries are synced automatically when your connection returns.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of planned maintenance that may affect service availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, K N Industries shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Kamna, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the use of Kamna shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the Kamna service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Kamna is a production tracking and cost calculation tool. The figures it generates are based on the data you enter. We are not responsible for business decisions made based on data in Kamna, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of calculations if the underlying data entered is inaccurate or incomplete.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless K N Industries, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

Modifications to the Service

We may modify, update, or discontinue features of Kamna from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect your use of the service. If we discontinue a material feature that is core to your plan, we will provide at least 30 days notice.

Termination

You may terminate your use of Kamna at any time by cancelling your subscription and requesting account deletion.

We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these Terms, if your use of the service poses a security risk, or if required by law. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach before termination.

Upon termination, your right to access the service ends. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) shall continue to apply.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you by email. Your continued use of Kamna after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the service and request account deletion.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of Kamna shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, India.

Nothing in this clause prevents you from filing a complaint with the appropriate Consumer Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or with the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Grievances will be acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 30 days of receipt.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Payment and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and K N Industries regarding the use of Kamna. They supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of these Terms.
